» On June 20, 2013, The Washington Post published an article stating that WMATA claims “it has settled all lawsuits filed against the transit agency by families of the nine people killed” in the Red Line train crash that occurred approximately four years ago near Fort Totten. As described in the article, The Washington Post has taken legal action in an attempt to force WMATA to disclose information about those settlements. To read the article, click here.

» On June 6, 2013, The Blog of LegalTimes published an article regarding a forum sponsored by the Judicial Nomination Commission at which Chief Judge Eric T. Washington of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals spoke about his plans for the Court of Appeals if he is redesignated as Chief Judge; his current term expires in August 2013.
